Revolutionary Ensemble
The Revolutionary Ensemble was a free jazz trio consisting of the late violinist Leroy Jenkins (1932-2007), bass violinist Sirone (Norris Jones, 1940-2007) and percussionist/pianist Jerome Cooper (1946-). The trio was active from 1971-1977, and reunited in 2004. At the time of their formation, Jenkins had been a member of the Chicago-based Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians (AACM), while Sirone had performed with Pharoah Sanders

Taken from Spotifys "This is Devin Gray" Playlist - It's a fully live band in a Brooklyn studio in 2017- we did around 5 takes with no edits, this was the best- Bass is playing a rather tricky fully composed melody- happy to share the score also :) thanks!more
